From its 1988 debut to its discontinuation in 2000, the Zenith-powered Daytona was in high demand, commanding long waiting lists from collectors seeking Rolex’s latest innovations. This was the first automatic Daytona, featuring a sapphire crystal and a larger 40mm case.

Powered by the self-winding chronograph 4030 movement with a 54-hour power reserve, the case is waterproof to 100m and fitted to its correct year-stamped 78390 Oyster bracelet with fliplock clasp.
