The only example for sale in the UK, this white gold World Time ref. 5130G is accompanied with its Patek box, literature and UK Patek Philippe warranty certificate dated July 2007. 

The silver guilloché dial features a 24-hour chapter ring divided into day and night, with the local time set at 12 o’clock and indicated by the central "observatoire" hand. This allows the wearer to read the time in all major time zones at a glance. The 18ct white gold case is slim and perfectly proportioned at 39.5mm. The case back is sapphire glass.

Historically important, the 5130G’s ingenious world-time mechanism dates back to the 1930's, when, at Patek's behest, independent Swiss watchmaker Louis Cottier created an ultra-slim system that could display the time across global cities using a concentric rotating 24-hour ring. This was later patented by Patek in 1957 and reintroduced as a further enhanced movement in 1999. This present example is powered by Patek's in-house self-winding calibre 240 HU (Heure Universelle) with micro rotor, waterproof to 30m and is fitted to a dark blue Patek strap with white gold Patek pin buckle. This World Time is guaranteed for 2 years.
