Patek Philippe
Perpetual Calendar
5320G-001 - Complication
No longer in production with the ivory dial, this white gold Perpetual Calendar ref. 5320G was retailed in February 2022, and is presented as a perfect full-set.
Debuted in 2017, this Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar was an evolution of the Maison's grand complications, paying tribute to the vintage Patek ref. 1591, (the first waterproof perpetual calendar) with its luminous-filled syringe hands, Arabic numerals and uniform dial configuration.
The 18ct white gold 40mm case with stepped edges and case lugs perfectly frames the brass dial, finished in an ivory-cream glossy lacquer. Sitting neatly above the embossed Patek Philippe Geneve moniker at 12, it displays the day & month in contrasting white apertures.
The date subsidiary is printed directly on the dial with the "1st" in vibrant red, while the moonphase, night/day and leap year indicators are all recessed. Requiring setting every 100 years, this Perpetual Calendar will automatically correct itself on long and short months, even recognising the 29th Feb every four years.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is Patek's self-winding caliber 324 S Q, featuring a Gyroxmax balance & 21ct oscillating weight. Waterproof to 60m and fitted to a Patek Philippe alligator strap, secured by its white gold folding clasp. An important watch, for a curated collection.
