Patek Philippe
Nautilus
5800 - Box & Certificate
One owner from new, originally purchased at the Patek Philippe Salon in New Bond St, this extremely rare medium size Nautilus 5800 is the only example for sale in the UK, and could not be better...
Released in 2006 for the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, the ref. 5800 was only in production for around a year. It was the first steel Nautilus to feature an exhibition case back, and was sized at 38.4mm, a small (0.9mm) increase on the previous medium ref. 3800.
One of the rarest Nautilus models produced, it also introduced the new in-house self-winding calibre 330 SC, and steel monobloc case, allowing water-resistance to 120m.
Judging from our recent sales and auction results, it's clear Patek collectors are no longer Jumbo obsessed, and are appreciating the discreet characteristics of these medium Nautilus and Aquanaut.
In exceptional crisp condition, the case & bracelet have seen little wear and retain crisp chamfers and bevelled edges. Accompanied with its Patek Philippe box, instruction booklets, Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin - dated Mar. 2010, previous official Patek service history, and the original bill of sale from the Patek Philippe Salon. Additionally covered by our two-year warranty.
