This important Vacheron Constantin Chronometre Royal is in incredible condition for a watch that is over 100 years old. The gold 18ct yellow gold case is still nice and heavy and the all-important enamel dial is pristine with none of the hairline cracks or chips that usually plague these enchanting dials. Housing a large chronometer-grade movement is awash with minute details indicative of quality, from the Breguet overcoil on the  balance spring, screwed gold chaton for the centre wheel, swan-neck regulator, ruby end-stones on the escape wheel and pallet arbors and the classic Geneva kidney-shaped stud holder.
