3.7m serial Sea-Dweller from 1973.

This vintage Sea-Dweller ref. 1665 features the wonderfully serifed MK I all-white print dial, upgraded during an official Rolex service decades ago. The tritium hour markers and matching hands have aged to a warm creamy tone, adding contrast to the matte charcoal dial.

One of the most important watches in Rolex's history, the Sea-Dweller was developed with French Maritime company COMEX, as a production tool watch for divers.

Fitted with a domed plexiglas, patented Helium escape valve for saturation diving; and as with all vintage SD 1665's, the full serial number is engraved on the inside of the caseback. Watperoof to 200m and powered by Rolex's self-winding calibre 1570.
