Sea-Dweller Double Red
1665 - MK IV Dial
Made in 1977, this Double Red Sea-dweller has one of the nicest honey yellow Mk IV dials you will see for sale anywhere in the world.
Developed alongside specialist French diving company COMEX as an industrial version of the Submariner, the Sea-Dweller ref. 1665 was developed with a Helium escape valve, and sported two lines of bold, brick red text on the dial. Characterised by distinctively grained printing, this mark IV example was one of the final models to be graced with the valuable "DRSD" printing and has come to us in outstanding original (unpolished) condition, with a lovely fat case, warm buttery Tritium lume, nicely aged bezel insert and original 93150 heavy link Oyster fliplock bracelet.
