When vintage Rolex collecting started, it started with the Rolex Prince. In its day, it was marketed as the finest watch in the world, incredibly expensive they graced the wrists of high society's real movers and shakers. The rarest and most valuable to collectors has always been the 18ct 'stripey' case like this one from 1929.
