One of the rarest Day-Dates in current production, Rolex Bond St have only had one 40mm ref. 228238 with the green lacquered dial, since its launch in March 2022.

Like the important Stella dials from the 1970s & 80s, the manufacturing process is intricate and time-consuming, with each one requiring 6 thin layers of enamel and polishing to intensify the vivid green colour. Given the history of Rolex and their small production of special dials like this, it's unlikely it will be in production long, and with so few available anywhere we're doubtful we'll see another.
