Cosmograph "Blue Daytona"
Rare "Stick Hand"
The 6239 Cosmograph is where the Rolex Daytona legend began and sees some of the most interesting dial variants in the history of these special chronographs. This example from 1969 was born with a particulary rare and beautiful dial where the Daytona signature appears in a subtle pale blue colour. Only in pruduction for a very short time, these 'blue Daytonas' are very hard to find especially in such wonderful original condition as this. The collectability of this particular watch is further enhanced by its original 1st series thinner 'stick' running seconds hand, correct 200' unit graduated bezel, and early '7205' riveted Oyster bracelet. Powered by the valjoux calibre 722-1 mechanical chronograph movement, and guaranteed by The Watch Club for two years.
