Cosmograph Daytona "Tropical"
Light Brown "Final Tritium"
And now for something a little special...
This rare black dial Cosmograph Daytona, was retailed in Las Vegas in Dec 1997. Over the last 24 years, the lucky owner has seen the white inner sub-dials naturally change colour and develop a beautifully rich light brown tropical patina.
'Colour change' 16520 Cosmograph Daytonas are highly sought-after by collectors, and this 'T9xx' serial with 'fat 6' dial is one of the best examples we've had in years. The light brown chronograph subs give the glossy black tritium dial real warmth, and this phenomenon will continue to evolve in years to come.
Complete with its Rolex box, USA Rolex Certificate (confirming the dial colour) 97/98 Rolex calendar card, both swing tags, bezel cover & Cosmograph racing booklet. Not an easy Daytona to replace, and a superb investment for the future.
