6239 - Blue Daytona
The reference 6239 Rolex Cosmograph is where the Daytona legend began, and offers some of the most interesting dial variants in the history of these important chronographs.
This particular example from 1967 is distinguished by a rare black tritium dial, with the Daytona signature at six in a light powder blue, a subtle contrast to the silvery text above. Produced for only a few years, these aptly named 'Blue Daytonas' are very hard to find in such original condition with perfect untouched lume plots and factory original hands.
Further enhancing its collectability, this watch retains its original 300–unit steel bezel, and an early '7235' folded-link Oyster bracelet. Powered by the hand-wound Valjoux calibre 727 (upgraded from the calibre 722-1) mechanical chronograph movement and is covered by our comprehensive two-year warranty.
