Cosmograph Daytona 'Beyeler Dial'
'Bronze Registers'
'P' serial Cosmograph Daytonas often deserve closer inspection...
It's well documented that the Beyeler manufactured white dials of the Daytona ref. 116520 from 2000 can (over time) turn 'Panna', however what's even more intriguing, are the silver chrono registers that have developed a warm bronze hue, on this black dial example.
UK retailed in June 2002 (the first two years of production), this rare stainless steel 'P series' Daytona with black dial & 'thin hands' is made even more collectable due to its unique and appealing characteristics. Rolex's first 'in-house' Chronograph, is powered by their self-winding calibre 4130 movement, waterproof to 100m. Fitted to its polished centre link Oyster bracelet.
Presented with its Rolex box, booklets, both swing tags & UK stamped Rolex international warranty card dated June 2002.
