Manufactured from 1988 - 2000 the ref. 16520 was Rolex's first automatic Daytona, and the '4-liner' is one of their rarest iterations. Our example is even more coveted due to its Mk II "225 bezel, aesthetically, it's also a personal favourite.

Our crisp white dial example was originally retailed in the UK in 1989, and is presented with its Rolex box and punched Certificate. The clean text layout dropped the words "officially certified" and removed the gap of the Mk I "floating" Cosmos. This dial execution only appeared briefly within the L series (ours is L28****) and are found with Mk I, II or III bezels and the all matt 78360 bracelet. Superb extremely collectable watch, rugged with sapphire glass (waterproof to 100m) and considered one of THE rarest of the El-Primero powered Daytonas.
