Patek Philippe
Perpetual Calendar Platinum
5059P - Last year of production
Just serviced by Patek in Feb 2026, and under their official 2-year service guarantee.
Introduced in 1998, the ref. 5059 was produced in all four metals with an estimated 1200 – 1400 examples, until the reference was discontinued in 2006. It is believed that only 300 examples were produced in platinum.
Retailed in Switzerland in Jan 2006 (the final year of production), the 36mm “officer-style” case features a hinged caseback revealing the self-winding calibre 315 S QR with 48 hour power-reserve. The porcelain white dial displays a perpetual calendar, with day, month, leap year, and moon phase indications arranged in a harmonious layout, complemented by a retrograde date that arcs elegantly across.
Presented on a brand new black Patek Philippe alligator strap, secured with a matching platinum Calatrava-cross deployant clasp.
Accompanied by its Patek Philippe box, instruction booklets, travel pouch, Patek service papers and original Certificate of Origin dated January 2006.
This 5059P perpetual calendar is so rare, that it is currently the only example available in the UK.
