3800 - Box & Papers
In the shadow of the 40mm Jumbo for the last two decades, never has there been more demand for the ref. 3800 that at 37.5mm offers a more discreet wear. With today's influencers and watch enthusiasts pushing back on the larger in your face models, this midsize 3800 Nautilus, with its outstanding pedigree seems more relevant now than ever.
Debuting in the Autumn of 1981, the slim stainless steel ref. 3800 offered a smaller alternative to the 40mm Jumbo Nautilus (ref. 3700). Both were produced concurrently, though the 3800 was notably more expensive thanks to its newly developed in-house centre seconds “SC” movement.
Preserved in such beautiful sharp condition, our 3800 features the rarer solid black dial with Luminova-filled applied white gold roman hour markers. Further enhancing its appeal, this final series is fitted with the iconic Gay Frerés steel integral bracelet with Calatrava emblem fliplock. Powered Patek's updated 330 S C self-winding calibre movement, waterproof to 60m.
Presented as a true collectors set, with original Patek Philippe box (also in superb condition), Patek Certificate of Origin dated Aug. 2002, swing tag, booklets, literature, and Patek service history from December 2024.
