Omega’s legendary 42mm Speedmaster: the limited-edition Apollo 11 “40th Anniversary".

Created to mark 40 years since the first Moon landing, 7,969 examples were produced in 2009, each individually numbered. The black dial features the Apollo 11 mission emblem in silver at 9 o’clock, while 02:56 GMT (the time of the lunar landing) is picked out in red beneath 12. The same eagle motif appears on the caseback and the accompanying 42mm silver commemorative medallion. Powered by Omega’s hand-wound calibre 1861, and fitted with the classic Hesalite crystal, rated to 50m water resistance.
