Between 1998 and 2008 Cartier produced the "Collection Privée", a celebration of the famous maison's designs over the years. This 18ct rose gold Tortue model (2498 E) was produced in a limited series of fewer than 300 pieces, and features the "Cartier Paris" logo on the beautiful guilloché dial. The sapphire crystal case back proudly shows off the the mechanical manually wound 437MC calibre movement, specially created for this model. Recently serviced by Cartier, this stunning timepiece is fitted to a brand new dark brown alligator Cartier strap, secureed with an 18ct rose gold deployant clasp.
