Produced in very limited numbers, these automatic 1970's Tanks were offered in slightly larger case sizes than the classic manual-wind models, including this Jumbo ref. 17011. Its dependable ETA-based self-winding movement is housed beneath a subtly domed caseback, designed to accommodate the self-winding rotor without compromising the Tank’s signature minimalist lines.

Our late 70's, 18ct yellow gold example, measures 25.5 x 33.5mm and is fitted with Cartier’s distinguished 18ct gold folding clasp. The dial remains beautifully preserved, featuring Cartier’s iconic Roman numerals, a chemin de fer minute track, and elegant blued sword hands. A discreet signature at 7 o’clock and the Paris retail signature at 6 o’clock confirm its provenance from Cartier’s most prestigious boutiques, echoed on the caseback.
