This sapphire crystal Submariner Date ref. 16610 comes with impeccable provenance, having been purchased by a British officer in the Sultanate of Oman.

It is accompanied with its perforated Rolex certificate, inner/outer box (with correct model number sticker), and the bill of sale from Oman's Khimji Ramdas, which is now, as it was then, a hugely respected Rolex authorised dealer in the region, and supplier of the historically important Khanjar Rolex's. The original aluminium bezel, dial, and hands all have the original factory tritium fill, and the sturdy Oyster 93150 Fliplock bracelet shows very few signs of age.
