This beautiful Pepsi from 1965 was amongst the last of the GMT-Masters to feature a gilt dial, with this "type C" representing the very final iteration.

The tritium lume has aged perfectly to an even, warm tone, whilst the gilt typeface is debossed within the black glossy dial, a characteristic of these rare GMT's. Note the widely spaced Oyster Perpetual configuration, unique to the last of the gilt dials.

Its red & blue aluminium insert has faded spectacularly to a light pastel blue & faint brickish-red hue, complimented by its correct (and rare) small "freccino" arrow-tipped red 24-hr hand. Fitted to its original riveted Oyster bracelet, waterproof to 60m and powered by Rolex's self-winding calibre 1570.
