Jaeger-leCoultre
Perpetual Calendar
140.2.80 - Rose Gold
Seldom will you have the opportunity to buy a perpetual calendar (crafted by one of the world’s most respected watch maisons), for under £20k.
Launched by Jaeger-Le Coultre in 1996, the 'Master Control Perpetual Calendar' ref. Q149242A was only produced for approximately 8 years.
Highlighting the brand’s impressive technical mastery, it offered their clientele what is considered the ultimate grand complication wristwatch. 37mm in diameter and just 10mm in thickness, this elegant 18ct pink gold Master Control features a perpetual calendar that displays the day, date, month, a digital year indicator, as well as a moon phase that adds a celestial charm.
This stunning self-winding grand complication is powered by the intricate 889/440/2 calibre. The 889 is a fine and durable calibre that served as a base movement for many complicated watches. It is not only featured at JLC, but as well as Audemars Piguet (AP 2124) and Vacheron Constantin (VC 1126), making it an exceptional piece in horology.
Previously owned by one of our most valued clients, this beautiful watch comes complete with it's Jaeger - Le Coultre box, operating instructions & certificate, and it is presented in remarkable condition, having never been polished.
