This impressive rose gold Duomètre à Chronographe ingeniously solves the chronograph's single greatest technical problem: how to operate a stop-watch without affecting the power-supply & timekeeping. The solution is unique among wristwatches - first, give the stop-watch its own power supply, (a second mainspring that is wound by turning the crown in reverse), and secondly, banish the imprecise "clutch" that usually links the parts together. Instead, a special escapement allows the stop watch (blue hands) to sample the time to 1/6th of a second, whilst the time is independently displayed with relentless precision by the gold hands of this magnificent 42mm solid rose gold gents watch.

This manually-wound Jaeger chronograph is in pristine condition, fitted to a brand new black alligator strap with rose gold JLC folding clasp. Supplied with its JLC box, travel pouch, and JLC service paperwork dated July 2022.
