The first self-winding watch ever made by Rolex. Nicknamed the 'Bubble-Back' due to it's domed case back (a feature designed to give extra space for the new automatic work), this watch dates back to the 1940s and is in remarkable condition. It's rare original steel and gold expanding bracelet is still in perfect working order (almost all of the examples we see of this age have been over stretched), and is finished with a beautiful ivory dial with gold Arabic numerals.
