The last ever variation of the 'red writing' Submariner, and in exceptional original condition, this ref. 1680 with mark VI dial is a must have for the collection of any vintage sports Rolex enthusiast. Introduced in 1967, the ref. 1680 was manufactured with Submariner in a rich brick red until the late 1970s, when the dial was replaced by the "all white" text. The mark VI dial can be identified by the closed 6s of the depth rating, and the centered "L" in Rolex; and is in beautiful condition with deep ivory luminous markers which perfectly match the hands and lume dot.
