Originally manufactured in 1960, this Vacheron Constantin reference 4591 is in superb condition and features a gorgeous, dramatically arched case. The bold lines seem to draw inspiration from a famous 1952 Vacheron design known as the 'Swallow' that used a curved crystal instead of this more distinctive 'pitched' design. The gently curved silver dial with elegant 'exploded' batons is in excellent, original condition with absolutely no sign of discolouration. An outstanding dress watch with an incredibly strong architectural influence, we are pleased to present this with its extract from the Vacheron Constantin archives.
