This large size yellow gold "Antimagnetique" chronograph is one of Rolex's most important chronographs before the introduction of the Oyster cased versions that later blossomed into the Daytona. This particular example from 1945 has been incredibly well preserved, with a perfect gold toned dial and factory fresh, pristine manual wind calibre 23 movement. Made for one of Switzerlands most prestigious retailers, Beyer, in Zurich this 4062 features dramatic tear-drop lugs, a cool telemetre index and racing inspired tachymetre scale. Very rarely seen in such impeccable condition, this is a perfect investment watch from Rolex's pre-Daytona days!
