This large (46.5mm) 18ct white gold Piaget has one of the most beautiful moonphase displays in modern watchmaking. Remember, the reason we see 'phases of the moon' is because the earths shadow moves across its surface, so, Piaget have applied the same logic here for a truely accurate representation of what is happening in the sky. Instead of moving this beautifully detailed white gold moon disc behind a little crescent shaped cut-out, the disc remains static at 6 o'clock whilst a grey gold disc moves to slowly obscure and reveal the delicate lunar surface below. Piaget only made 100 of these in 2010, powered by Piaget's own in-house automatic movement, fitted to an unworn alligator strap with white gold folding clasp and presented with its Piaget box, sterling silver "P" stylus and covered by our 2 year warranty.
