In StockReleased in 1969, the impressive large size 47.5mm Breitling Chrono-Matic ref. 1809 was the world's first automatic chronograph wristwatch. Our example, made in the 1970s, features a red numeral date ring and slide-rule bezel with steel edge. The gloss black dial, in exceptional original condition, features silver rule and chronograph sub-dials, beautifully toned ivory luminous markers and striking orange hands, giving this pilot's watch excellent readability. Fitted with a left-hand wind cal. 14 automatic movement, guaranteed by Watch Club for 2 years.
