Sold on 22 May 2012An exceptionally rare watch, this vintage steel Rolex 'Padellone' is one of the 1000 ref. 8171s manufactured between 1949 and 1952. Its early production number (stamped on the inside of the case back) tells us it left the factory during the first year of production. This silver dial of this beautifully discrete gentleman's dress watch features day, date and month indication, and moon phases. Featuring an automatic movement behind a snap fit case back. Complete with original box, and guaranteed by Watch Club for 2 years.
