This iconic "Double-Red" Sea-Dweller is one of the most coveted vintage sports Rolex ever made. Featuring the rare 1st edition slim case, these watches were only manufactured between the 1.7m to 2.2m serial numbers. The inside case back is marked IV 67 (last quarter of 1967) and engraved with the last three numbers of the serial, guaranteeing this is the original case back from manufacture. The first two lines of the dial text are in a rich brick red, and boldly contrast with the matt black background and luminous markers, now a beautiful even ivory colour which matches the hands.
