Stunning vintage Explorer 'white hand' ref 6610 from 1958 with beautiful original gilt dial and hands.

Vintage Rolex Explorer from 1965 with 'underline' dial.
In early 1960 Rolex began changing the wording at the bottom of the dial from 'SWISS' to 'SWISS T<25'. On this example Rolex have printed 'T<25' in white on either side of the word 'SWISS' and the 'underline' printed beneath the word 'SUPER PRECISION' was a registration mark that ensured the T<25 was correctly positioned when added to the dial.
